Account Technology Strategist (ATS)

 

Key Responsibilities:

How does the ATS add value?

•Gathers and provides 360° insight of IT Technology profile, Partner and Competitive landscape of key customers to the entire Microsoft v-team.

•Builds Trusted Technology Relationships with IT Decision Makers, incl. the CIO, the CTO and their direct reports, as well as the IT-Pro’s within the customer’s organization.

•Develops a long-term Business-to-IT strategy and facilitates Deployment Roadmaps through effective orchestration of Microsoft and Partner Resources.

•Accelerate growth by ensuring the customers environment is ready to deploy new Microsoft Solutions.

•Teaming with Account Executives to help drive revenue growth by leading the customer technology architecture roadmap discussions, enabling the maturity of the customer’s infrastructure for faster consumption (usage, deployment and adoption) of Microsoft’s cloud solutions.

•Its in-depth knowledge of customers’ IT Technology environments.

•Its ability to ensure that the customer’s deployment of Microsoft’s technologies is poised to accept the latest Microsoft Innovations and Solutions

•Its ability to build long-term Trusted Technology Relationships which result in solid and meaningful Strategic Technology conversations.

•Its broad knowledge of the Microsoft Enterprise Platform, and the ability to map relevant IT Technology Solutions to the customers’ IT and Business needs and priorities.

Key Initiatives & Challenges:

•Consumption: Ensures Microsoft technology is being deployed according to Customer-defined plan engaging Customer, Microsoft and Partner resources.

•Capability-Led Selling: Initiates the capability deployment conversation as a Trusted Technology Advisor to the IT decision makers and supports Microsoft or Partner resources in driving strategic opportunities.

•Solution Selling: Identifies and supports Solution opportunities, owned and orchestrated by Microsoft or Partner resources.

Experiences Required: Key Experiences, Skills and Knowledge:

•5-8 years of related experience in IT.

•Affiliation with Technology.

•Technical Sales Experience.

•Experience in Consultative Selling.

•Extensive experience in working within teams.

•Experience in Project Management.

•ITIL or „IT management-like” certification is preferable.

•Prefers a certification in sales, sales management, complex sales training, sales methodologies, broad evangelism through events (presentation skills), consultative selling.

•Additional training or education in Business, Sales or Marketing is preferable.

•Prefers certification in Microsoft or relevant cloud data center or mobility technologies
